Spreading Joy and Warmth: Chelmsford Dance Centre’s Christmas Jumper Morning Raises £168.52 for Local Food Banks

On Saturday, 6th December, the Chelmsford Dance Centre was full of activity & festive cheer as we hosted our much-loved annual Christmas jumper morning. The studio was a sea of colorful, quirky, and cozy jumpers, as our dance community came together not just to celebrate the season, but to make a difference for those in need.
The morning was made extra special with the irresistible aroma of freshly cooked bacon rolls wafting through the studio. Dancers and guests alike enjoyed these delicious treats, paired perfectly with mugs of hot chocolate topped with fluffy marshmallows and a generous swirl of cream. Laughter and conversation flowed as everyone shared in the warmth of good company and festive spirit.
But the true highlight of the event was the generosity shown by our community. Through donations for our festive treats, we raised an astonishing £168.52 for local food banks. This contribution will help support families and individuals facing hardship this winter, ensuring that our joy reaches beyond the studio walls.
At Chelmsford Dance Centre, we believe in the power of dance to bring people together and uplift our community. We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part, donated, and helped make this event a success. Thank you for helping us spread kindness and Christmas cheer—one jumper, one bacon roll, and one cup of hot chocolate at a time.
Don't forget we are still collecting donations for our reverse Advent calendar. The collection box will be in reception until 17 December, we will then take these donations to local food banks.
Wishing everyone a wonderful festive season!
