Last Saturday (22 November), our school came together for a fantastic Children in Need Bake Sale, and what a treat it was! The generosity and creativity of everyone involved were truly inspiring. Tables were filled with an incredible variety of cakes, cupcakes, and baked goods, all lovingly made by students, parents, and staff. From classic Victoria sponges to colourful cupcakes and even some show-stopping themed creations, the effort put into every bake was remarkable.

The school hall was buzzing with excitement as families and friends gathered to browse the delicious selection. The aroma of freshly baked treats filled the air, making it almost impossible to choose just one! There were gluten-free options, vegan delights, and traditional favorites, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. Many students took great pride in presenting their bakes, sharing stories about how they made them and the inspiration behind their designs. Parents and staff were equally enthusiastic, with some even donning aprons and helping to serve at the stalls.

The bake sale wasn’t the only highlight of the day. Each class enthusiastically took part in the 25 Step Challenge, a special routine designed by the Strictly Come Dancing professionals to support Children in Need. The students practiced hard and performed their steps with energy and excitement, showing off their moves while raising awareness for this important cause.

The atmosphere during the 25 Step Challenge was electric. Laughter and cheers echoed throughout the hall as students danced together, encouraging one another and celebrating every step. Teachers joined in too, making it a truly inclusive event. The challenge not only brought everyone together for a bit of fun but also helped to reinforce the importance of supporting charitable causes and working as a team.

Thanks to everyone’s contributions and generosity, we raised an impressive £134.36 for Children in Need. A big thank you to all the bakers, dancers, and supporters who made this event such a success. Together, we’ve shown the power of community and kindness in making a difference.

Events like these remind us of the incredible spirit within our school. The sense of unity and shared purpose was evident in every smile and every slice of cake sold. We are so grateful to everyone who donated ingredients, gave their time, or simply came along to support the cause. Your efforts have not only raised vital funds but have also created lasting memories for our students.
