James Goodman

James is, as well as being a highly qualified Dance Teacher, a former Musical Theatre performer and Actor, who has done almost everything from TV to Panto, and spends his time comparing major events for the Dance Industry, including the Blackpool Grand Finals. He also still teachers and manages his father’s dance school in Dartford who is, you guessed it, our very own Len Goodman. To say James is a “chip off the old block” is an understatement. We are lucky and privileged to have James on the team!

Debbie Snashall is a former Professional 10 Dance finalist, who has had a very successful career spanning over 3 decades! Debbie has taught medallists and competitors to a very high and exacting standard. Debbie's reputation as a dance coach and professional is legendary, as well as the extensive work she currently does as Founder and CEO of Dance Afloat Limited placing dance teachers and dance hoasts into various venues and also on all the major cruise ships worldwide, We are lucky and grateful that Debbie has agreed to take time out from her busy scedule to judge the "The Rayleigh" for us.

I started Ballroom and Latin American competitive dancing in South Africa at the age of 12. I went on to represent both England and Finland in championships around the world before retiring from competition aged 31.
During my competitive career, I was trained by many of the world’s best coaches and together with my gorgeous professional partner Hanna Haarala, we achieved both 4th place in the Amateur UK competitive rankings and 24th place in the professional World Latin American competition rankings. We travelled all over the UK and abroad performing our Latin Emotion Show Dance.
In 2005 we were invited to star as professional dancers on BBC’s 3rd “Strictly Come Dancing” series. I partnered celebrity actress Jaye Jacobs. My SCD experience created, and still does, so many amazing opportunities and experiences. Some of which include joining Brendan Cole’s Live & Unjudged UK theatre tour for 4 years as well as being invited as celebrity entertainers on luxury cruise ships and many other wonderful opportunities.

Libby is known as the “fastest inputter in the business” and is one of the UK’s strongest up-and-coming scrutineers, and is a regular at major events behind her trusty laptop, and is famous for being very flexible and adaptable at events, including a regular at the major Blackpool Grand Finals. Libby is the perfect person to do the number crunching at “The Rayleigh”!
