2026 Dancarama Brings the House Down with Dancing, Costumes, and Championship Moments

What a day. Our 2026 Dancarama, held on Sunday 17th May, was an absolute triumph, with a packed house and an atmosphere buzzing from the very first step. The energy in the room was infectious and it felt like everyone was dancing, cheering, and fully caught up in the excitement.

​

This year’s format made the event even more thrilling to watch. Dancers began with a basic dance performed up to routine only, showcasing strong technique, timing, and style. Then came the highlight: an advanced dance that was completely unrestricted, giving performers the freedom to interpret the music, take risks, and truly shine. The result was fabulous dancing, full of personality and flair, topped off with beautiful costumes that brought real sparkle to the floor.

We were also delighted by the feedback from our judges, Edita and Lawrence, who said the whole event was absolutely amazing. They’ve even been in touch since to tell us what a brilliant and game-changing event Dancarama is, which is a huge compliment and something we are incredibly proud of.

To finish the day in style, we were treated to a superb performance from our adult show group, who never fail to deliver something special. Their performance was uplifting, powerful, and the perfect finale. Very well done to them, and thank you for ending the event on such a high.
