Celebrating Emma Havis – A Valued Member of the CDC Team
We are proud to recognise Emma Havis as a highly valued and established member of the Chelmsford Dance Centre staff team.
Since joining us in February, Emma has brought a wealth of experience, passion, and professionalism to the studio. Her impressive background—representing England on the world stage and currently ranked number one in the UK for all 10 dances—continues to inspire both pupils and fellow teachers alike.
Emma’s journey as a lifelong medallist competitor, coupled with her success in running her own dance school, gives her a unique perspective and deep understanding of the medallist pathway. Her commitment to helping dancers reach their full potential is evident in every class she teaches.
We’ve also had the pleasure of welcoming many of Emma’s former pupils into the CDC community, and it’s been a joy to see them thrive under her continued guidance.
Emma’s connection to Chelmsford Dance Centre runs deep—her mother, Sue, and grandparents were all taught by our Principal, Phil Meacham, back in the 1980s. It’s a lovely full-circle moment to now have Emma sharing her expertise with the next generation here at CDC.
You’ll find Emma teaching on Saturdays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays where her energy and enthusiasm make her lessons a firm favourite with pupils of all ages.
