Lauren started dancing Ballroom and Latin American from the age of three, doing both exams and competitions. At age twelve Lauren then joined the Chelmsford Dance Centre dancing in the children's classes as a Rocker.

After a few more years dancing, Lauren then assisted on the evening classes for adults, and also become a receptionist and dance coach on the children's classes on a Saturday morning.
