Pat Davies has been teaching for over 40 years. He is a Fellow member of The National Association of Teachers of Dancing.

He started teaching following a successful competitive dancing career in Junior, Amateur and Professional Open competitions. During that period, he has had the pleasure of competing and demonstrating all around the country and in Europe.

For many years he taught with Len Goodman (Strictly Come Dancing Ex Head Judge), then going on to owning his own successful Dance studio for over 30 years with wife Elaine in Gravesend in Kent.

Pat over his career has taught many talented pupils including, Matthew Cutler, winner of Strictly Come Dancing (with Alicia Dixon).  Matthew started his dancing career with Pat at the tender age of 8 years old winning many major open competitions along the way.

Fun, success, and enjoyment has followed Patrick through all the many pathways dancing has given him. His passion has always been the coaching and teaching of all ages and levels of dancers from Beginners to Professionals.

Now he’s looking forward to teaching at The Chelmsford Dance Centre.
