Strictly Air Ambulance – A Life-Saving Tradition We’re Proud Of
Strictly Air Ambulance is a very special event close to our hearts here at Chelmsford Dance Centre, and one that we are incredibly proud to support year after year.
The idea for Strictly Air Ambulance was originally thought up by Zara, and for the past 14 years, Phil has proudly served as Head Judge, helping steer the event as it has grown into the hugely successful and much-loved fundraiser it is today. Over the years, Strictly Air Ambulance has raised an astonishing amount of money for an incredibly important cause.
The charity itself is vital, as the Air Ambulance receives no funding whatsoever from central government. Every mission, every life saved, and every piece of specialist equipment relies entirely on donations and fundraising efforts such as this event.
This year promises to be another spectacular occasion. The evening will feature a special performance from Strictly Come Dancing professional Vincent Simone, who is also a long-standing friend of the Chelmsford Dance Centre. The event will be hosted by television favourite David Whiteley, alongside former Strictly contestant Lisa Snowdon, ensuring a fantastic night of entertainment.
Joining Phil on the panel of adjudicators will be Danni Dyer, who has also been involved with Strictly Come Dancing and is the daughter of EastEnders star Danny Dyer, adding even more star power to the judging panel.
We are especially proud that our very own Elise is coaching Chelmsford’s Dean Vale, and we warmly encourage everyone to support them. While the judges assess only the competitor’s performance and not the dance coach, Phil has made it clear that he will be expecting a strong performance on the night!
Also competing will be Sara Tupper, who is being trained by our very own Martin Adkins — giving us two fantastic reasons to attend and show our support.
